What a general service covers
A general service keeps your car running properly and picks up small faults before they turn into big bills. We follow the manufacturer schedule for your make and model, stamp your logbook, and tell you what we found.
- Engine oil and oil filter replaced with the correct grade for your vehicle
- Air, cabin and fuel filters checked, replaced as scheduled
- All fluid levels topped up — coolant, brake, power steering, washer
- Brakes inspected, including pad and disc wear measurements
- Tyre condition and pressures checked, wear patterns reported
- Battery tested under load and terminals cleaned
- Belts, hoses and suspension components inspected
- Lights, wipers and horn checked
- Road test before the car goes back to you
- Logbook stamped and the service report explained
Servicing here will not void your warranty
Under Australian law you can have a new car serviced anywhere by a qualified mechanic without losing your warranty. We service to the manufacturer schedule, use parts that meet or beat the original specification, and stamp the logbook the same way a dealer would.
How often should you book one?
Most vehicles are due every 10,000 to 15,000 kilometres or every 12 months, whichever comes first. Check your logbook, or call us with your make, model and odometer reading and we will tell you where you are up to.
What it costs
Price depends on the make, the engine and which service is due — a minor service costs less than a major one with filters and plugs. Call us with your rego, or your make and model, and we will quote you before any work starts.
